Sad news today - Afghan Whigs guitarist Dave Rosser has passed away.

He worked with Greg Dulli in a couple of side projects and joined the Whigs when they reformed in 2014. This is a song from the reunion album ‘Do To The Beast.’ Like vintage Whigs, it’s both beautiful and menacing. RIP Dave.

Are you familiar with harold “Happy” Chichester from Columbus? He was one of the Twilighters. He also was in what I consider to be one of the first white punk soul bands… the RC Mob (Royal Crescent Mob) and then in another 90s band Howlin’ Maggie. One of Columbus’s better talents and just a bit eccentric too.
