Local reporting on this story seems to indicate that a successful appeal could or would (I’m not sure which) lead to a new trial. If so, this would appear to be a very stupid appeal.

If he’s going for anything other than getting his record wiped, he’s an idiot. I hope he *does* get a new trial. He can’t use the poor rich kid angel card anymore. I’d love to see him wearing a jump suit in population with his new nickname “I’m his Bitch” over the pocket.

I’m working at Sunlight, outside of Glenwood Springs. We were supposed to open tomorrow, been pushed back a week. We need an 18 inch base. Snowmaking takes care of that on the lower mountain, but the upper mountain is all natural snow dependent.

Wow! You *way* west this year, out on the western slope. I remember when Rifle was oil shale central, back in the day when they tried to extract it from the surface and distill it rather than drilling deep and fracking it.
