basing movies on comic books is almost high art these days, we have movies based on board games, toys and Animatronic Disnelyand rides.

have not movies been re-adaptions of someones “stories” for ages? I have no problem with movies based on comics. I just ask that if I have to break concentration for a minute or two I’m not completely lost when I re-engage.
