In other news, I got a call from my bank this morning asking about a flagged debit card payment - at a beauty salon somewhere in Minnesota. Headed off to my branch, where they canceled my card and are sending me a new one tomorrow.

The fraud division assured me that they’re not going to charge me for the purchases (4 in Minnesota, and one, strangely, in Brooklyn). But tomorrow I have to visit my local police precinct and file a police report for the bank.

The bank did an admirable job, and the asshole using my debit number in Minnesota sucks. Can’t wait to visit the precinct tomorrow. ///

Ask your bank whether those Minnesota charges were in person or byy phone

Yes I know beauty salon…sometimes they do it as a test to see if they can get the card to go through, then comes the big charge
