Manafort’s troubles are manifest with today’s testimony so far.

He attested to fact that he didn’t have foreign income. We have proof he had foreign income.

We have evidence that he lied to others, including Gates about whether he had foreign accounts. We have his tax returns that indicate that he didn’t indicate he had foreign accounts or foreign income when he did.

Each one of those relates to one of the charges.

Manafort’s defense is crumbling, and his supposed defense that Gates was the one responsible for this, doesn’t hold up to scrutiny either.

So the bullshitter has run out of bullshit.

How did this arrogant bastard think he was going to get away with this defense?

Well, unless he doesn’t care for a real defense and fully expects to be found guilty and then jailed.

Might be safer for him this way.
