I’m not an Excel master, but I can make it do what I want, which is mostly gradebook stuff.

Some aspects of Excel drive me nuts. Creating charts is not always intuitive, and it takes several attempts for me to get a simple pie or bar graph to look the way I want. Excel also sucks for scientific work.

Generally need bespoke software for science applications.
