We should learn to accept that pay cuts and tax hikes are not a bad thing if we just learn our place in society, which is to help the 1% concentrate more wealth.

And like a bunch of religious zealots, we should also accept that we cannot enjoy the fruits of our labors for that way lies sin and immoral behavior, so must instead immerse ourselves further in our work to stop such temptations. That only the rich and powerful may enjoy such because Capitalist God smiles upon them.
