Retiring early can cost a LOT of money for a state or federal employee. You have to get to a certain age to be fully vested. Hopefully he’s young enough so that this hurts him badly, and he’ll have to work far longer than he would if he’d not fucked up his government gig.

Also, slagging your boss anonymously in public is probably going to work against his future prospects.
