Not exactly sure how those two statements are mutually exclusive. You can support the moderates purge within the GOP without showing up at Bachmann’s nutjob parade.

Perhaps you missed my dripping sarcasm. The left would love to portray the GOP as the party of wingnuts and radicals but when called upon to display their radicalism you can’t get more than a few hundred to show up at a capitol protest.

After the GOP supported Dede in NY and given their lackluster ability to support the most radical voices among them I suspect the great bulk of the center right who identify as life long GOPers aren’t anything like the nightmarish children of the corn scenareo we’re presented with again and again by the left and their media darlings.
