His comment seemed silly. But really, when I was a kid I used to laugh at some of the stuff my mom talked about. She used to pump water in her kitchen sink as a girl. I thought that meant she was old enough to have gone to school in a horse and buggy. Its hard to get a grasp on recent history time lines. It seems to bunch up at the ends. And our technology has exploded in recent years so that most kids really honestly cannot relate to the lack of technology (or its intrusion into our lives) even 10-30 years ago.

Quite Concur. I had to print out and hand in all my school papers. These days, they’re mostly sent in by email. It just makes me feel old, that’s all. I’m only 32, and I already am made to feel old at regular intervals. Guess i better practice some responses:
