Mixed emotions right now. Stayed home to take care of some business around the house. My wife’s friend has been giving them free Japanese lessons so they can read, write and speak it. She seems like a nice enough person. The troubling part, she’s using a religious based lesson plan. I heard some of the translations and it sounds like a load of fundamentalist crap. Not wanting to cause a scene, but going to need to talk to my wife and kids after the lesson.

I have taught about 15,000 hours of language lessons over the last 20 years. I would admit to subversively injecting left-of-center politics and love for baseball and soccer into my work, but never once religion. I would not like what you describe one bit.
