I’m just reminded of how, only nine short years ago, our Media Village proclaimed an election triumph for the Values Voters, with gay rights being one of the key factors that cycle. It’s been an amazing turn-around, on many fronts.

Indeed, I remember hearing about that and being so disappointed that people cared more about voting away freedoms than anything. Seems like the country has come a long way since then. I still consider my proudest vote a vote against a ban on gay marriages and civil unions here in Virginia.
