re: #148 Wendell Zurkowitz (slave of the waffle light)

I am self-employed and work in the tourism industry, that means weekends and odd hours. And I don’t have to answer the phone if I don’t want to be disturbed…

OK, then, it’s your business.

I’ve been viewing the original “House of Cards” on Netflix (it’s 20 yrs old) and one of the things that is quite different from the American version is that it’s not full of technology, with people constantly being interrupted everywhere by their cell phones by frantic others. Francis Urquhart in this series is much more devious and deadly than the American version as well; Ian Richardson is perfect in the role. The Brits do murder very, very well.

It’s entirely wonderful, BTW, and Michael Kitchen plays a great king in the second season. : )

I’ve been wondering also, since I tend to watch a lot of British TV: Do British men suffer much from male pattern baldness? I have yet to see a leading role with lots of hair. Is it the weather over there, or what?
