What I find amusing about this latest astro-hooey end-of-the-world crap, is that (if I read it correctly) it’s just another iteration of the supposed Nibiru Cataclysm
(Nibiru is supposed to be some sort of rogue planet that whips through the Solar System every so often and messes things up for Earth. It must be a bad-ass “rogue”, though, as its existence and supposed effects violate virtually every law of astrophysics. It’s just more “apocalyptic” shuck-and-jive with a tacky veneer of pseudoscience. Its one main feature-of-interest is that the tale isn’t a rehash of ancient or pseudoancient “revelations” but was revealed via an alien brain-implant made up by a woman from Wisconsin in 1995. Probably from Paul Ryan’s district…)
