I look at the names of some of the alt right big names and they’re ethnic names. They’re the descendants of people who would have been told that they weren’t “really white” and now they believe this stupid white nationalism that has emerged. It wasn’t PoC telling my white ethnic ancestors that they could never assimilate. It was other white people. This isn’t to say “fuck white people” but rather “No Richard Spencer just because we’re both white doesn’t mean I will ever make common cause with you.”

The Jewish Trumpers who are family and friends don’t see any comparison with what happened with Jewish refugees on the St. Louis and the immigrants at the Southern border. They would all have supported Hitler in the 1930’s if Hitler had the same agenda but the target was a different ethnic group. And they believe Trump was a brilliant businessman.
