I lost all faith in capitalism when the federal government bailed out Chrysler in 1979…by all rights, that company should have been allowed to fail, but nobody was about to take the political and social responsibility for it.

Reminder—they didn’t let Chrysler fail because they were manufacturing the Abrams tank. That’s the main reason for the bailout.
