“Bernie now front runner” after a couple of highly non-representative caucuses is just our press trying to spin a narrative out of next-to-nothing.

And that is just satisfying a public, many of whom are already so fed up with the campaign that they would just rather know how the election comes out so they can put it behind them.

But the polling shows that Bernie is leading in Ca and Tx, and that he is the most popular Democrat. We also can’t assume that if Biden dropped out and endorsed Pete or Amy or Elizabeth, his voters would follow. Polls show that the leading second choice for Biden supporters is Sanders.
