Yeah, that’s what I figured too, but they’re not. Zero sympathy. I mean, they all say that command failed since obviously the dude had signs of being crazed but the don’t excuse him at all.

It’s totally anecdotal, these are just four guys. But I think the whole murdering children in their beds part does take away much sympathy that might otherwise be there.

I think they’re more sympathetic for the poor bastards who are going to be stuck picking up the pieces in the field.
