I once stayed overnight in Wendover UT, having gotten there in the first day of driving from San Francisco to PA. I woke up at 8 in UT, and asked the desk clerk where we could get breakfast. He said, the Casinos back across the border in NV. So, we went and had breakfast half an hour before we woke up, then set out at just the time we woke up, but were almost immediately an hour behind.

My wife and I stayed in Wendover during our trip to California. There was a pretty good restaurant about a block from the state line (I cannot remember the name now).
