Lie about business deals you had with a foreign government in order to win an election: “Hey now, this isn’t really a crime…”

If Trump lied under oath about the business deal, then it’s comparable for him. OTOH, unless the Republicans would convict, Trump isn’t going to be impeached.

Also Trump will certainly veto any restrictions on Saudi Arabia and the Republicans will let the veto stand.

At least, the Putin meeting in Argentina has been canceled.
