For the last ten years I have resisted the urge to upgrade our last-ditch ability. At the same time, I have not reduced it at all.

Over past 30 years, it seems to me, that with firearms, the ballistics have not changed significantly. However the improvements on optics have very much impressed me. Or maybe I am just sinking further into geezertude.
