My girlfriend and I had originally intended on walking around aimlessly taking pictures, but we got stuck in the middle of the crowd close to the second row of bigscreens around 11:00-11:30. We were faily close, but still could barly see the dots moving around on the stage… All the people around us were really cool though, and we had a great time… For perspective, it took about 15 seconds for ‘the wave’ to reach us.

I didn’t even think to count how long it took. I think we were looking at the second set of screens. Hard to tell, though, because it really was packed. We were standing near a food vendor so the wafting smells of burgers and fries were a bit of torture. I was so hungry and thirsty, but didn’t want to do anything about it because I didn’t want to have to find a portapotty. I’d have lost my friend and family in that crowd.
