Downding for your subtitle. Christianity has, in the past, slaughtered people for far less than an image like that. So have Hindus, so have Buddhists. Religions are not better than one another. The culture and socities that contain them may be, but the religions themselves are just a subset of that culture, and you’ll find the ‘good’ religions in post-enlightenment societies. It’s not the religion. It’s whatever the culture has had to moderate and reform the religion.

All that is true, but are Christians going bat guano crazy and murdering people TODAY for criticizing Christianity?

Were there murderous and violent riots when Piss Christ was released to public viewing?

The fact that there are still Muslims who murder for the sake of their faith is proof positive of the need for more social evolution within Islam.
