Strange, I thought that allowing your citizens to access life-saving medications might be more important than standing up for a principal while you watch them go bankrupt or die.

Allowing competition from Canada would force down prices here.

I’ll add that if such a law were to pass, it would just kick the can down the road.

The law implicitly admits that the US is incapable of determining drug prices. That it’s unable to provide for its own citizens.
I understand that lives are imperiled. If the loss of sovereignty and prestige are what the US is willing to stand just so that average people are able to afford treatment from a foreign country, I don’t know why Obama instated the ACA to begin with.

Do you see what I’m driving at? The progressives see that change coming from within.
