He lived up Woody Creek, about 10 miles by road to downtown Aspen, to this day it’s still really out of the way from anywhere. I’ve driven by Owl Farm a few times, it’s a little place.

Sure, HST called himself an Aspen local, but he lived very far away from Aspen proper.
