The coinage of political power is WINNING ELECTIONS.

“Moral” victories means that you do not have political power. And you are less able to undo the damage when you do get it back.

“Moral victories”are basically a euphemism for “losing”. I’m sure that if the Democrats win a 30-seat majority in the next Congress, some Berniebros are likely to burn up the Internet whining and bitching that was only a victory for “corporate Dems”,and that if Bernie had been elected, it would have been a 150-seats: all dedicated Socialists….
