To be fair, Comey was born in 1960, and when he was a little kid the Republican party had not yet been completely converted to the atavistic engine that it is today.

Many of us form mental images of what is “real” in our youth, and may not accept that after 50 years things have changed.

Bullshit. If he is as so damn moralistic and intelligent as he sells himself…and being a crack investigator…he would have seen what his party is a long time ago.
