But I guess what I really don’t like about the whole OH THEY’RE SO EASILY OFFENDED is the truly great comedians have always found ways around stuff like that. I was watching North by Northwest for the first time and it TBH was the first time I’ve ever seen Cary Grant and I was just amused with how he slyly was talking about things that the censors wouldn’t let him get away with if he had been more blunt about with Eva Marie Saint. It was great. And TBH the best comedy show in the Obama years was Key and Peele, and Jordan Peele and Keegan Michael Key are two very gifted performers. A lot of their stuff is Chappelle inspired no doubt but a lot of it fit perfectly for the Obama era since Jordan and Keegan like President Obama too are biracial and I think that made their humor all the more funny to me. Plus their versatility in roles. I swear Keegan can play an Indian and be believable yet funny.- Snap Mr. Lewis. Or Jordan’s Meegan in drag- I’m over it.
