I was shopping at Wal-Mart a couple of nights ago and I passed a Latino family. We exchanged friendly glances but I couldn’t help but wonder if they were internally worried that I was another racist white guy that might be ready to cause them trouble.

And I’m sure other minorities think that when they see me too.
