Isn’t it likely that Trump’s handling of the pandemic is guided by advice from his BFF Putin? Putin has probably explained to him that he has kept the case rate low by not doing widespread testing — and that the mortality rate is also much lower than it would be because magically — no test, no death from Covid-19!

Of course, we also have the mysterious billionaire (not Trump since it is a real billionaire) mentioned in a tweet posted here the other day which basically said that to keep the rapacious capitalism in control, we can’t afford to worry about peasant lives. The Deval Patrick philosophy that he would happily sacrifice his life (well, not really his, but that of minorities and the poor) in order that the current economic order remain intact, instead of being slightly redesigned to benefit all.

I’m pretty sure that was not former Massachusetts Democratic Governor DEVAL Patrick who said that. That was, however, the stated position of current RWNJ Republican Texas Lieutenant-Governor DAN Patrick.
