M4A, ACA+, or something new are all just style issues. The goal is to get some kind of baseline healthcare security into the hands of everyone. Set the platform goal, and execute whatever the election results and economic crash permit.

Dems might do well to point out to the Berners that millions of Americans without health insurance right now due to job loss don’t want a “perfect” M4A system 4 years from now, they want their insurance back now. That we need to get people covered today, not offer them “free” health care half a decade away.
