Mariah Carey has serious mental problems from what I’ve been able to gather. Why anyone with talent is attracted pop, I’ll never understand - it is soul-killing, superficial drudgery focused solely on promoting teen or near-teen porn to an audience of drooling halfwits who wouldn’t recognize true talent if it walked up and bit them in their pimply ass.

I can at least understand Christina’s pop phase, she was brought out by a record label, then went crazy when finally able to go on her own (sort of like a preacher’s daughter syndrome I guess, she finally realized that the label doesn’t have to tell her what to do anymore). But I guess once she got it out of her system she went back to a classic style, and I think went to a Marylin Monroe kind of pinup look after that.
