Old trick for weird screws, may work. Get an old bic pen and remove the inner ink tube. Heat the pointy end with a longer. Just enough to melt, try not to set in fire. Push it onto the screw. Don,t move it but let it cool. When hard use it to unscrew. Used to take video game consoles apart using this trick. Does depend on how firm the screw is

Interesting idea, but I suspect this screw is in pretty firmly. I’ll try it if I can’t find an appropriate bit when I’m out and about tomorrow.
