I would like the Democrats to nominate someone closer to 60 than 70 or 80, and not just to keep Bernie out; I think Biden would be too old as well. And I would really prefer a woman or a minority.

Steven Chapman of the Chicago Tribune made that very point — he said that Biden is too old :

At some point, people who have long seen a president in the mirror need to acknowledge their time has passed and make way for younger candidates. Neither the Democratic nor the Republican Party has any shortage of talented and ambitious officeholders. In 2020, voters should have a choice of two of them.
