Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like, in tweet form, that’s what she did. Josh Marshall posted a column today, “Is Anyone Surprised by These Woodward Revelations?”. The answer is - No, we’re not. And a good part of that actually goes back to reporting by Haberman and others going back beyond the election.

Again, maybe it’s me, but I don’t see the woman who said ‘It’s all about surviving the next 10 minutes’, and who brought up Trump’s tweet about the DOJ not serving his political needs, and who said that it’s not that he knows the truth and tells the opposite, but rather that he believes whatever bullshit he’s spewing - I don’t see her as a fan of Trump’s. Like, at all.

Have you seen pictures of other New York Times and Washington Post reporters critical of Trump in images like this?

I think it is obvious Maggie Haberman plays softball so as to not hurt her access to Trump. Maybe that is her ‘beat’ to be the soft reporter to get another Trump take.

But I think it is stretch to call her a Trump critic in the sense of actual political criticism. And if she really was a pure critical writer that is neutral, I would suggest an image like below is not a good look, but is consistent with why everyone questions her.
