And I think the ones teaching it to their own kids are effectively brainwashing them to be anti-science, anti-reality. Teaching scripture is one thing, to advocate it’s the truth when it is not, is another. Many religious people have overcome what may seem like a conflict, and can effectively do both - teach religion and science.
