I don’t see why that would be so, though. Posing a possibility that there can be no consent between close relatives does not amount to showing that it is true. And until this vague concept is proven, there is no case for denying consenting adults their rights.

I don’t foresee epidemic outbursts of such cases. Shit that always happened will continue to happen. And punishing people who do it without any sort of abuse because of a vague possibility of such a scenario is not fair.
I don’t think it’s possible for there to be parent-child incest that’s without abuse, actually. If you do, we disagree strongly on that. I don’t think that it’s a vague possibility that, if incest were fully legal, there would be parent-child relationships that were coercive, either.
