Champion the Vote organizer creates new project, “Churches Impacting Culture,” to make God the central authority in American life

Leading up to the 2012 election, a project called “Champion the Vote” urged Christians to register voters who would vote the “Biblical worldview.” Champion the Vote was created by a group called “United in Purpose” and had numerous right wing evangelical partners, such as Kenneth Copeland, who told his audience before the election that “If you’re a Christian and you don’t vote, then you are out of line with the Word of God. You’re out of line in your place as a believer in the Body of Christ because the United States of America is the only nation in history that was ever organized by people for a specific purpose to praise and worship God.”

Bill Dallas, a spokesman for Champion the Vote and United in Purpose, has released a video promoting United in Purpose’s new project, “Churches Impacting Culture.” As with the other projects, Churches Impacting Culture seeks to mobilize Christians opposed to abortion rights and marriage equality, and advocates a vision to make the Judeo-Christian God the “central authority in American life.”

So we get to vote for God now? Good, I support Crom.
