Most gun nuts I’ve met think “gun control” means using both hands. And they agree with keeping guns from the mentally ill and criminals, except when they can make excuses for both. The former when they say they’ve been “treated” and the latter when they argue that non-violent felons be allowed to still own a gun.

So, they do believe in “common-sense” gun control.
