I have a landscapes addiction. But also wildlife.

And this is still a hobby so I am trying not to not spend an arm and five legs. WHICH AS YOU KNOW is totally possible.

Okay, WTF—do you work for the NSA?? How did you know that I finally caved and ordered the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro today? I got the old one, not the new image stabilized L-series (too expensive that one). I spent several days wrestling with myself over it and trying to decide between that and the 70-200mm f/4 L which, even with the rebates going on right now, would’ve cost me about $150 more.*

It’s due here tomorrow so… Eeeeeek! I’m excited.

You guys are gonna get sooooo sick of macro shots, ‘cause I’m determined to get my money’s worth out of it.

*I already have a 55-250mm zoom. It’s not the greatest, but it’ll do for now which meant I couldn’t convince myself that I needed the L right now.

I’ve already put aside the 18-55mm kits lens, the nifty fifty, and the 85mm f/1.8 because I really don’t use them much. I figure if I can go a few weeks without wanting to drag them back out, then I’ll sell just them. *sigh*
