I can’t find it now, but The Rude Pundit outlined how president Trump would turn things around immediately - he’d continue doing exactly what Obama’s been doing, and instead of telling everyone what a disaster it is he’ll just talking about how great things are going.

No need to update the plan. Just update the pitch. And I bet it wold work.

Of course it would. After years of insisting that nothing’s happening to stop IS, the GOP would spin around and credit the success in pushing them back all to the “new” leadership. Gone would be all the talk about how badly the effort is going, replaced with daily declarations about how we’re beating them back and retaking areas that were “lost” to the invading hordes by the Obama administration. We’d be told about how happy the military is to be under a leader who “supports” them and are doing everything to end the threat of “radical Islam.”
