I always thought wet foot was unfair. It’s not as if Cuba is the only tyranny immigrants face peril fleeing. I expect the Cubs lobby to throw a gasket over this but I just don’t care. I know a lot of Cubans had to flee their homes but I hate their representatives like Rubio and Cruz acting like Cuba was unique.

What I want to ask them is why Cubans deserve refuge, but Syrians don’t. I mean it’s not like Raul Castro is bombing his own people, right? So it can’t be degree of suffering or risk of death. So why, Marco?
