Slasher’s statement reminds me of comments in one of the tweets from one of the MSD students the other day. The student said they were going to need to fix things the Boomers had messed up, which started the usual “not all Boomers” line from people. But, here’s the thing: The modern NRA belongs to the Boomers. The modern evangelical movement belongs to the Boomers. It could be argued that both of those started before the Boomers but that generation isn’t in control any more. Boomers could have, and could be, doing something about them, but they won’t because it’s about power, not doing the right thing.

And, just to be fair, as a Gen-Xer, my generation hasn’t done any better.
