I would suggest that what you are talking about was born out of ‘92. Sure the bitching started on the right with Limbaugh and Fox and others like them. But the left learned from it and use it now because it is convenient and effective. They can get plenty of agreement from the wingnuts to convince them they all understand how bad she is.

I bet you are very familiar with a Bernie supporter or a less than enthused Hillary voter saying something about “all that Clinton baggage” prior to the 2016 election. That is what I am talking about. Some on the left bought in to all of it. They apparently don’t need facts to support it. Must be one of those “gut feelings” like the same feeling that brought us Trump.

The far-left’s been nursing a grudge since Bill’s win in ‘92 because they blamed him (and still blame him today) for the party backing away from the “progressive” views that defined it through the 70s and 80s.
