I don’t think it’s possible for there to be parent-child incest that’s without abuse, actually. If you do, we disagree strongly on that. I don’t think that it’s a vague possibility that, if incest were fully legal, there would be parent-child relationships that were coercive, either.

The only possible parent child incest situation I could even mentally imagine that wouldn’t involve abuse would be the kind where the child was conceived by the parent who was a teenager at the time and then gave the child up for adoption and thus had NOTHING at all do to with raising them and they meet up again a few decades down the line without realizing their genetic relationship ahead of time.

But yeah if you were involved in raising a child you can’t have any sort of sexual relationship with that child without it being all sorts of sick and wrong…
