You notice that people stopped giving a shit about Cliven Bundy almost as soon as the “siege” there ended and the militia nutters didn’t get the firefight with the Feds they were spoiling for?

Want to prevent these morons from becoming martyrs? Wait them out, until they’re dehydrated, smelly, and covered in their own filth. Then march them out to paddy wagons with video cameras rolling, showing them broken and beaten (metaphorically speaking), with the next stop an appearance before a judge and then off to a jail cell.
