The boycott got results. Ever stop to think that O’Reilly’s advertisers are pulling out because they saw what the Limbaugh boycott did?

As I noted, they didn’t care that O’Reilly’s screeds caused a murder.

They care only for profit. So no, I am not going to cheer them for doing “the right thing.”

Doing the right thing would have been to pull advertising when he was spinning up wingnuts to murder, not to save their bottom lines.

The only ethics corporations have is profit. They aren’t pulling adverts because they believe in proper treatment of women, they are pulling adverts only because of protest. If they were ethical, the adverts would have been gone when Dr. Tiller was killed (or before, when it became obvious O’Reilly was trying to get him killed).
