How was El Salvador? I’m considering a visit there someday.

It really is a beautiful country. My wife’s mom is from there so we were visiting family. Lots to see and some beautiful places to visit. It’s a poor country for sure and has its issues but I love it there. They use the Dollar so no money conversion, food is cheap and so are hotels. Just be prepared for mosquitos, possible diarrhea (some food there disagreed with me big time) and really REALLY bad drivers.
