Every few days or so I randomly think about how the Vegas massacre seemed to just slip out of sight without the attendant coverage and followup you might assume for such a national tragedy.

I can’t believe bump stocks are still legal in most US States. I mean I knew not much would happen but that at least seemed like such an anodyne, kabuki response that I figured the GOP would actually jump on it, if nothing else out of some rote pretense towards giving a fuck.
