He knows more about the first hand effects of gun violence than most NRO writers yet no one tells them they have no credibility to talk about guns. The article is NR’s bread and butter. Condescending bullshit.

I can see how it’s almost a criticism of those “using” Hogg in the debate. But it’s just not focused enough to get there and instead veers off to criticizing Hogg directly for being a 17 year old high school student, or something. And in doing so, it completely misses the point it was probably intending to make.

It also misses the entire point (probably on purpose) of the current gun control debate. That is: semi-automatic weapons are not appropriate for civilian use.
